Moisés has been part of the rainforest life since birth. Having been born in Puerto Maldonado in 1980 he has been in contact with nature since childhood. Before working in the tourism industry, Moisés has worked with lumber, Brazilian nut collecting, gold mining and in farms. During those years he learned to appreciate value and respect the Amazon Rainforest. This is why he began to study the career of “Official Tourism Guide” at the Instituto Superior Tecnológico in Puerto Maldonado, were he obtained more information and knowledge regarding animals, vegetations, and history. Now a day he is a current Explorer Guide at Reserva Amazonica lodge. He has a preference for the Amazon mammals, especially sloths.
