Born in Puerto Maldonado in November 1982, Alan was raised surrounded by flora and fauna. He has lived most of his life in Madre de Dios but has had the chance to visit other interesting cities in and out of the country. From Lima, the capital, all the way to Tokyo Japan, Alan has been learning from different customs and cultures, appreciating every single one of them. Due to Alan’s passion with nature he has always looked for work related with conservation and environment. Having studied Tourism at the “Jorge Basadre” Institute in Puerto Maldonado, he currently works as an environmental Explorer Guide at Inkaterra Reserva Amazonica.
