Butterfly House

Spend an hour at Inkaterra’s Butterfly House in Puerto Maldonado, and come face-to-face with the butterflies of Peru and Tambopata.

Our region is home to more butterflies than any other place on earth. You will see many of them here, in a naturalized habitat full of flowers and tropical plants. Learn about the amazing adaptability of the butterfly, and simply enjoy the graceful beauty of these colorful insects.

Located near the airport, the Butterfly House also includes a reception area as well as a café.
