| • Generalized use and overuse of air conditioning contribute to increase the problem of climatic change and constitute a high price for keeping air cool. • Refrigeration appliances and air conditioning systems require a high consumption of electricity. More appliances switched more carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. • The overuse of air conditioning in cars requires approximately 20% more consumption versus a 5% if you open the windows while you drive. • Refrigeration appliances and air conditioning systems emit chlorofluorocarbon substances, which continue depleting the ozone layer. |

- Avoid opening doors or windows as much as possible when you use air conditioning systems.
- Temperature provided by the air conditioning system must range from 24° to 26°C. Using air conditioning below 22° C is considered an abuse of energy.
- Distributing the air of a room with a fan do not use so much energy and do not emit CFC gases.
- Wear light and comfortable clothes and keep your body well hydrated during the summer.
