There are two ways to get from Cusco to Machu Picchu Historical Reserve: by hiking or by train (from Cusco train station or Ollantaytambo train station). Most visitors choose o arrive by train, a journey that is rich in scenic beauty. If that is your choice, your rail journey will be 3 1/2 hours from Cusco or 1 1/2 hours from Ollantaytambo. Once you have arrived in Aguas Calientes (the train station for Machu Picchu), an Inkaterra staff member will greet you and help you with your luggage to Inkaterra Machu Picchu hotel.
